Designed for Early Career Teachers and trainee teachers, this session explores underrepresentation in education and higher education, the barriers some learners face, and the role teachers play in creating inclusive environments that support student progression, aspiration and long-term success.

What will the session cover?

This online interactive session will help you to:

Be given practical tools, techniques and actions that your school, college or educational setting can embed to cultivate an environment that nurtures parental participation.

Who is it for?

This event is suitable for teachers, teaching assistants, senior leadership, pastoral staff, local authority staff within education departments, other staff with responsibility for parental involvement, governors, recruitment and outreach staff, Uni Connect staff, third party organisations working with parents.
