Tutor Time Resources
These ready-to-use Tutor Time Resources are designed to help students explore their future education and career options in a format that fits easily into the school day. The suite includes audio-recorded talks and printable worksheets, covering a range of topics from apprenticeships and T-Levels to transitioning to college, with each topic lasting around 20 minutes.
These resources are perfectly suited to tutor time and can be delivered flexibly to support careers education throughout the year. If you would like any of these talks delivered live and virtually, please reach out to your assigned SUN workshop contact, but be aware that the content will be the same as what is included in the Tutor Resource packs.
Transition to College
In this short talk students will explore their options after GCSE’S, look at the differences between providers, look at an average timetable at college, understand course options and learn about what support services are available to them at post-16 study.

Mythbusting Higher Education
A short talk exploring the variety of educational pathways including traditional university degree programmes, higher and degree apprenticeships and higher technical routes.

Discover Your Options
Students are guided through the different educational and workplace pathways available to them. It encourages reflection on the benefits of further and higher education, provides students with some top tips to decide their next steps, and provides resources where they can find more information and support.

Understanding Apprenticeships
This short talk explores apprenticeships in depth, focusing on Intermediate and Advanced apprenticeships. The talk explains what an apprenticeship is, how they are structured, what the different levels of apprenticeships mean, and looks at the application process for apprenticeships.
